Ann Silverthorn
Ann Silverthorn is a versatile writer and has been writing professionally since the mid-1990s. She earned a bachelors degree in English with a minor in business from Gannon University. She also earned a masters degree, with distinction, in English from Gannon University.
Ann has written professionaly since 1995, focusing on technology, fiction, poetry, and drama. She served as editor for Business Solutions, and InfoStor magazines and several Web sites. She also has written for Network World, searchSMBstorage.com and TidalWire.
Behind the scenes, Ann has ghost-written white papers for analysts and case studies for technology and consulting companies.
Other types of writing Ann has engaged herself in include travel writing, grant writing, real-estate and general advertising copy writing, and brochure writing.
An experienced writing instructor, Ann has taught college freshmen and graduate students for more than a decade. Courses taught include college composition, critical thinking, and grant writing.
In the creative-writing realm, Ann enjoys writing fiction and poetry, having won awards in both. She wrote a 100,000-word women's historical novel for her graduate thesis and was awarded the Graduate Excellence Award in English from Gannon University for her efforts.
